Hero Kids 2012

On the 21st of February, ICAIS held the ‘Project Hero Kids’, a new and innovative idea put forward by the chairperson Int. Neranga Fernando where 57 children from the Green Fly Viradaru Club were invited. These children had unfortunately suffered the trauma of having their parents fight in the War.

ICAIS attempted to lift their spirits through the inspirational speech by the wonderful toastmaster Dayan Fernando. This was followed by lunch as well as games such as cricket and musical chairs between the interactors and our new friends. It was an amazing experience and ICAIS hopes that ithas succeeded in its mission to lift the spirits of these children who truly deserve their title- Hero Kids.
